Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 27, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SnapBilly web, mobile and desktop applications (the “Service”) operated by SnapBilly (“we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Your acceptance is recorded electronically with a precise timestamp as a binding agreement.
1. Electronic Acceptance & Virtual Signing
By clicking “I Agree” or “Create Account” you electronically sign and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. This electronic acceptance is a legally binding agreement equivalent to a handwritten signature under the U.S. ESIGN Act, the EU eIDAS Regulation and the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000. We record the UTC timestamp, document version, IP address, user agent and your account identifier; this record is retained for 7 years after account deletion.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
3. Account Responsibilities
- Keep your credentials confidential and your information accurate and current.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@snapbilly.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Service Description
SnapBilly is a cloud-based invoicing and financial-management platform for freelancers and small businesses: invoice creation and tracking, customer management, expense tracking, a profit & loss dashboard, PDF generation, email delivery, and multi-platform access.
5. Subscription Plans & Free Tier
The Free tier includes up to 5 invoices per month, up to 3 customers, and core features. The Pro plan is $10/month or $100/year (save $20) with a 7-day free trial (credit card required; not charged during the trial). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically. All payments are processed by Creem.io, our Merchant of Record, which handles billing and tax compliance — we never receive or store your card details. Renewals occur automatically unless cancelled.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to facilitate illegal activity.
- Upload malicious files or code, or attempt to access other users’ data.
- Circumvent security features, including row-level security, or exceed rate limits.
- Create fraudulent invoices or use the Service to commit financial fraud.
- Resell or redistribute the Service, send spam, or impersonate others.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its source code, design, logos and trademarks — is owned by SnapBilly. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it under these Terms. You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload; you grant us only the limited license needed to process, store and transmit your content to provide the Service. We claim no ownership of your data.
8. Service Availability & Modifications
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with 14 days’ notice, and will give at least 30 days’ notice and a data-export window before any permanent discontinuation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. SnapBilly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of invoices, tax calculations and reports you generate.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapBilly and its team from claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or third-party rights, or content you transmit via the Service.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from account settings; active subscriptions are cancelled and you retain access until the end of the billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, security risk, or where required by law.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Before formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@snapbilly.com and attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days. If that fails, disputes are resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive participation in any class action.
13. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SnapBilly and supersede prior agreements.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we revise the “Last updated” date, notify you at least 14 days in advance, and prompt re-acceptance on next login. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
